na rowerach górskich. Od 2011 roku,
jedna z dorocznych edycji odbywa
się w Krakowie. Ideą cyklu jest propagowa-
nie sportowego trybu życia oraz promocja
turystycznych walorów Polski. Na trasie ry-
walizują zarówno profesjonalni kolarze, jak
i amatorzy. Nie brakuje także całych rodzin,
które szukają aktywnej formy wypoczynku.
Wspaniała atmosfera, sportowe emocje
oraz trasy prowadzące przez malownicze
tereny Polski sprawiają, że liczba uczestników
rośnie z roku na rok. Rekord frekwencji pada
zawsze w krakowskiej edycji SkandiaMara-
ton Lang Team– w 2014 roku wystartowało
tu 1500, a w 2015 roku już 1800miłośników
dwóch kółek!

kandiaMaraton Lang Team is a rac-
ing event, during which the partici-
pants race on their mountain bikes.
Since 2011, one of the yearly editions
takes place in Krakow. The idea behind the
cyclical event is promotion of healthy life-
style and Polish tourism. On the track, both
professional cyclists and amateurs compete
to win. The event is also widely attended
by families looking for active recreation.
The great atmosphere, emotions and
tracks leading through picturesque areas of
Poland make the numbers of participants
increase on a yearly basis. The attendance
record is always beaten during the Krakow
edition of the SkandiaMarathon Lang Team
– in 2014, 1500 lovers of two wheels par-
ticipated in the event. Just a year later, the
number rose to 1800.

our de Pologne to słynny, wielo-
etapowy szosowy wyścig kolarski,
organizowany cyklicznie na terenie
Polski, będący jedną z największych
imprez sportu zawodowego w naszym kra-
ju i jednym z najstarszych wydarzeń kolar-
skich na świecie. Od 2005 roku znajduje się
w kalendarzu UCI World Tour, skupiającym
najważniejsze imprezy kolarskie, w których
startują najlepsze drużyny kolarskie. Rok-
rocznie Tour de Pologne gromadzi miliony
kibiców zarówno na trasie w kraju, jak i przed
telewizorami w wielu państwach na całym
świecie.
Od 2008 roku Kraków jest gospodarzem
ostatniego etapu i zakończenia Tour de Polo-
gne. Wydarzenie to zawsze jest wielkim świę-
tem sportu i kolarstwa, ściągającym tłumnie
mieszkańców miasta i turystów. W 2014
roku na krakowskim Rynku przeżywaliśmy
wyjątkowe emocje – zwycięzcą 71. edycji
imprezy został wychowanek WLKS Krakus
Swoszowice Rafał Majka! Na podstawie po-
rozumienia z Lang Teamem– organizatorem
Tour de Pologne – nasz narodowy wyścig
będzie kończył się w Krakowie co najmniej
do 2018 roku.

our de Pologne is a famous multi-
stage cycling race, organised an-
nually in Poland. The event is one
of the biggest professional sporting
events in our country and one of the oldest
cycling events in the world. Since 2005 it
is a part of the UCI World Tour Calendar,
which focuses on the most important cycling
events, where only the best teams partici-
pate. Every year, Tour de Pologne gathers
millions of fans, not only along the route in
the country, but also in front of their TVs in
many countries around the world.
Since 2008, Krakow has hosted the
last stage and finish of Tour de Pologne.
This event is always a great celebration of
sport and cycling, gathering thousands of
residents and tourists. In 2014, at the Main
Market Square in Krakow the emotions were
outstanding – as Rafał Majka –WLKS Kra-
kus Swoszowice home grown cyclist – won
the 71st edition of the race. According to the
agreement with Lang Team – the organiser
of Tour de Pologne – our national race will
finish in Krakow every year, at least until
2018.
